To support our long-term research & development needs, we are looking for new talents to join us in Grenoble. As part of an innovative pilot line working on new substrate development with key industrial partner, we are hiring a Process Engineer to support development activities for process integration, CMP, Epitaxy and Implant.

Collaborate with unit process owners to develop and optimize process recipe's per product requirements by running process engineering experiments, collecting data, analyzing results, and making conclusions. The focus areas will be product integration, CMP, Epitaxy, and Implant.

Own specific projects to troubleshoot problems, perform root Cause analysis, and resolve process engineering issues.

Support transition of the pilot line to prototype manufacturing phase.

Track process iterations and production flow using MES and other data management systems in place.

Implement regular qualifications and other checks needed to ensure repeatable process performance.

Generate internal and external documentation for tool process status, roadmap, action plans, improvement plans and technical reports.

Perform regular benchmark with internal & external experts to know latest best in class performances and practices. Implement new technologies, upgrades and instruments as needed.

Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction through clear, consistent communication and responsiveness.

Help pilot line achieve current project goals and participate in research & preparation for future projects.

Adhere to the security & IP policy and quality standards of Applied Materials and its customers & partners.

You have semiconductor experience working with advanced equipment.

You can work autonomously, taking data driven decisions with limited supervision.

Ph. D with technical background like electrical engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, physics, material science, etc is preferred.

2 to 5 years of professional experience

Fluent in English & French.

You are willing to travel to other customer sites or Business Unit (5% - 10% of the time, depending on overall activity requirements).
